Spiced Cajun Chicken

Ingredients

4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts

2 Tablespoons Cajun Seasoning

1 Tsp Garlic Powder

1 Tsp Onion Powder

1 Tsp Smoked Paprika

1/2 Tsp Salt

1/4 Tsp Black Pepper

1/2 Teaspoon Dried Thyme

1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

 

Step: 1

In A Small Bowl, Combine Cajun Seasoning, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Dried Thyme, Dried Oregano, Salt, And Black Pepper. Mix Well.

Step: 2

Pat The Chicken Breasts Dry With A Paper Towel And Place Them On A Cutting Board. Sprinkle The Spice Mixture Evenly Over Both Sides Of The Chicken Breasts, Pressing The Spices Into The Meat To Adhere.

Step: 3

Heat The Olive Oil In A Large Skillet Over Medium-high Heat. Once The Oil Is Hot, Add The Chicken Breasts To The Skillet, Making Sure Not To Overcrowd The Pan. Cook For About 5-6 Minutes On Each Side, Or Until The Chicken Is Cooked Through And Nicely Browned.

Remove The Chicken From The Skillet And Let It Rest For A Few Minutes Before Serving. This Will Help The Juices Redistribute And Keep The Chicken Moist.
