Pomegranate Powder Rice Pudding

Ingredients

1 Cup Rice

4 Cups Milk (Can Use Dairy Or Non-dairy Milk)

1/2 Cup Sugar 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/4 Teaspoon Salt 2 Tablespoons Pomegranate Powder

 

Step: 1

Rinse The Rice Under Cold Water Until The Water Runs Clear To Remove Any Excess Starch.

Step: 2

In A Large Saucepan, Combine The Rinsed Rice, Milk, Sugar, Vanilla Extract, And Salt. Bring The Mixture To A Boil Over Medium Heat, Stirring Occasionally.

Step: 3

Once The Mixture Reaches A Boil, Reduce The Heat To Low And Simmer Uncovered, Stirring Occasionally, For About 25-30 Minutes Or Until The Rice Is Cooked And The Mixture Has Thickened To A Pudding-like Consistency.

 

Step: 4

Remove The Saucepan From The Heat And Stir In The Pomegranate Powder Until Well Combined. The Powder Will Give The Rice Pudding A Beautiful Pink Color And A Subtle Pomegranate Flavor.

Step: 5

Allow The Rice Pudding To Cool Slightly Before Transferring It To Serving Bowls Or Glasses. You Can Serve It Warm Or Chilled, Depending On Your Preference.
